Red Bornean Carnivore - The only information available on the Red Bornean Carnivore is that it is nocturnal and has the appearance of a cross between a lemur and a housecat. Even locals who know the jungles of Borneo intimately, profess to have no knowledge of this cat-like creature. There have been 2 photographs taken of this creature in the wild and none have been caught.

The jungles are so dense and so much of it unexplored that discovering a new species there is not uncommon. Since 1994, close to 400 new insects and plants have been found in the same jungles where the Red Bornean Carnivore lives.
