Biggest Tsunamis

--The biggest tsunami wave in the last 100 years was the nearly 1,500 foot wall of water at Lituya Bay, Alaska in 1958.

--The tsunami with the greatest number of casualties was the recent 2004 Sumatra tsunami. This tsunami originated in the Indian Ocean, travelled at 500 mph and caused 300,000 deaths.
